We are being told that the closed sections of the trail will be open by November 21, including the Lower Rouge River Trail connection. If there are any openings before the 21st, we will be sure to let you know.

The Trail South of I-94
MDOT is making progress toward financing the trail to Huron River Dr and the entrance to Willow Metro Park. We could possibly see work start next summer.
MDOT has secured financing to fix the railroad tracks on the trail along Northline Rd.
There are many trail users who will love to see this approximately 6 mile extension happen, so let’s hope that things continue to move smoothly.

The Michigan DNR wants to hear from trail users by August 31!
As part of the process for drafting the new state trails plan, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is collecting feedback on the current state trails system and what trail users would like to see for the future. Click below for the letter from DNR and the survey. It needs to be completed by August 31st. Please share with your friends and colleagues!!
July Workdays
We have scheduled two workdays this month, one July 12 and the other July 26. Both are from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Come help out, even if it is for a few minutes.
